As Mally is un-named in her passport, I get to choose a name. However I am crap at thinking of names :o So any help would be much Appreciated :D

She is by Mackney Clover and out of Laura Lee, I can't see much coming from those two. She was bred in Ballinasloe, Co Galway and I bought her from Poynton.

The only one I can come up with is Poynton Star (and I think the Star part is a bit naff TBH!) and I need four choices!

If ANYONE says Galway Girl, I will find them, and bop them on the nose with a rolled up newspaper! :p :D

I'm not great at these but I will try ;)

Ballinasloe Clover

Poynton Ballerina (ballerina is kind of like Ballinasloe) :p

Poynton Malibu

Malibu Sunrise

as I said I'm not very good at these :o

Ahhhh now I see where 'Mally' came from! :D

What about 'Galway Gal'

I'm told Meililotus is Latin for Honey Lotus/Yellow Clover - but not very catchy :D

The patron saint of Ballinasloe is Saint Gallen.

All useless info, sorry!

There are MILLIONS of Clover horses out there... L has a long and slightly naff name to get the "clover" bit in there... ;)

Sooo.... Mally Clover?! ( ;) )
Poynton Clover
Poynton Laugh (I'm not saying you would, but it goes with Poynton ;) )
Clover to you
Four leaves
etc etc...

you can see why Lucky ended up keeping a long unimaginative name ;)

You  :p

The Mally is because my friend's daughter is called Mali (the welsh version) and I love it, so named her the Irish version (and didn't tell him I named my horse after his daughter!!), but randomly, it works with everything else! :D

I've been looking at the same info, despirately hoping there was a type of Clover that started with Mal, all in vain though
