Name one goal you hope to achieve with your horse in 2008?!

1. Ride my TB for light hacking.
2. Break my 3yo
3. Find some evidence of a skeleton on my 2yo (she was born a blubberbutt)
4. Avoid colic bills or any other vet bill.
5. Find a sharer who would like to play with either one or all three of my girls - what do you rate my chances?
6. Maybe do more BHS exams....maybe not

mine is a very simple goal!!!

To be able to sit to his lordships trot so we can move up to medium! (it just aint happening at the moment and hasn't for the past 12 months!)
 
I AM going to take Flo to a dressage competition next year.

I'm currently reschooling her, shes 24! And it will be her first EVER competition, shes previously only hunted, hacked and done fun rides all on her toes with her head in the air acting like a 4yo TB

Just one goal...Thats too hard!

*Represent GB at the junior world championships.

I I am allowed 2, be placed at the Indoor national chamionships.

And 3??? Be placed at the Junior trinations...

4...Get the team round a 3DE.

Either have my horse snae hutning and out and bout (unlikly)

I am actually in early talks about buying another although that one will be for me to bring on and sell, but I have my eye on another one for me personally. IF all this comes off then I may bung P in foal next spring and see what she produces (for sale, not for me, I don't have the patience!).

Think about selling R, he sort of lost the plot hunting, Will give him a 2nd chance but I don't know is he will improve think it mught just be a bit too much for him.

Unfortunately not all horses will take to hunting, so I would bite the bullet and find something that will.

Yes I would deffo sell P if someone wanted her (you would love her LOL), am just rather lazy about advertising her TBH! BTW when is your meet?

i NEED a horse lol

i cant keep loaning/sharing a 14.2hh cob with a rubbish owner and a 15.2/3hh TB mix who's saddle i barely fit in! his owner is very small and skinny and the saddle is perfect for her, but what about my build?
 
I am hoping that i will be able to go out to a very low key dressage comp,hopefully go out for our first days hunting in feb 08 and generally bond with my horse a bit more as it's taken a while for us to get to know each other. I'm then hoping at some point to put her huge scope into practise and actually do some small xc and sj classes but we're a bit off that yet!!!!

To keep Amber the happy girl she is now and to get sister back on the big girl after the broken leg (sister not horse) and take both mares out together again.

Well to be jumping consistently clear BN and Discovery and possibly try a Newcomers by the end of the year.

If I can sneak in a couple more goals then it would be to qualify for regionals in Novice BD

Oh and pass my trailer test!
 
I normally set myself several goals & manage around half of them! If it has to be just one then it is to complete a 2* (either CIC or CCI).
 
Hmm think I have a few goals as i've had a bit of a break this year:

1. Get Star and me back BSJA again BN and Disc
2. Compete for RC Teams again and SJ at the Kent County Show
3. Carry on with BD, hopefully moving up further with Novice etc
4. Maybe try a little bit of XC lol..arghhhhh
