name plates for stables

does anyone know where i can order some names plates for stables? it is for a Christmas present, but i know i have left it a bit late so it'll probably be for a New Years present instead

not too expensive, preferably wood

Archie and Max have got really nice ones, but cant remember who we got them from! Not much help ay! We got them from HOYS a couple of years ago and they are gold plastic mounted on wood and they were only about a tenner each. Ill try and find the name of the company and PM you the details.

Try your local hardware shop - they usually do house name plates and you just get them to do one for your horse. I've had wooden engraved ones and a brass one in the past. They're not expensive as a rule.

Hi Jengle - ordered 2 for my horses a few weeks back and everyone thinks they're gr8 so I've just 5 mins ago sent a new order off for all the other liveries! Chunky wood block painted pink or blue background with chunky black lettering on. Think you can have any colour background/lettering! Only £9.12 each including p&p. Can't remember the website but her e-mail address is ctissington@aol.com. NOT advertising guys - just info for a forum member! Cheers Jengle!

These are the ones I got from ebay stable nameplates

And this is what they look like (Charlie's only 8 hh - so the nameplate looks quite big on his door - but they aren't really very big!)

I got this one from a seller on ebay. Absolutely love it. You can get different desing. I opted to send her a photo of Tyler, she then let me chose the colours of the writing and painted the whole thing, including the cartoon version of Tyler. Was only £11.00
