I've recently brought home an un named filly (picture attached) and am struggling to pick a name that suits. She's sweet with a dainty head and I'm seemingly more drawn to 2 syllable names. Her mother (who sadly passed away) had an Italian name so I wondered about Italian words or female names but couldn't find any that easily roll off the tongue other than Bella. I also have another mare with a 2 syllable name beginning with T to add to the mix. I need help so any suggestions welcome :)

Russet in Italian is "ruggine" (jeanie on weekdays!)
Flame is "fiamma"

..and she is VERY beautiful.

Some Italian name/word suggestions:

Fiamma (Flame)
Alba (Sunrise)
Fiore (Flower) (or Fiorella/Fioretta which can be used as names).
Stella (Star)
Donna (Woman/Female)
Livia and Viola are also old Italian names which might suit her?

She's very pretty!

Sotto voce. Soft voice. Mona. Dulce. I also like clarrie and Scarlet for chestnuts. claret. Or maybe even Beaujolais. She’s gorgeous. Failing all those how about Poppet. She looks like one!

Fiordiligi - Flora for short
Dorabella - but you have a Bella so how about Dora?
Zerlina
Tosca
Musetta
Hipermestra

--- I'll stop with the opera connections now.
Please keep them coming, I love them. Tosca is on my list and we don't already have a Bella so Dorabella could be either!
