Got a new horse arriving next week. Quite excited now! I bought her a while back but left her at stud.

Her registered name is Blueheather Wizadora.

Breeder referred to her as Roo2 so guessing there was a Roo1. Mum was known as Tigger. Winnie the pooh connection I think.

My history is not good with names... titch, small thing, Doris, smelly (that one was Maggot originally).......it really isnt good! A few have been ok but not many!

Cant be Dora as too close to Doris. Not sure about Whizzy as a friend had one called Whizzy who went permanently lame at 8 ...I am a bit superstitious like that...

I was thinking Ruby but not sure really. She isnt red!:)

What about Tracy? Or Wilma?

What about............Maud?:D

Taken at about 5 months so wont be like this now LOL!
She will be a gawky yearling!:)

No criticism of her plaese! She will look pretty in my field!:D

She looks really sweet!!! I would call her Biscuit - Bizzie for short as her picture made me think of biscuits!!!

being a 'she' she must be a witch not a wizard and taking the blue from the heather you get bluewitch which is a type of nightshade (solanum umbelliferum), now solanum is a large and diverse genus of annual and perennual plant including the potato, the tomato and the aubergine. So, if you are still with me by this point and going along the direction of your previous names.....
...how about......

.....SPUD!

I like that too, I usually go with disney film names, or films that i've seen, called my last filly Josalyn, from a Knights tale. It backfires occasionally, called a colt Lucanio, meens devil, seemingly, he lived up to his name, was just evil, tried to kill me so many times!!!

I think Maud is a cute name, Maudie if she is being good. Read a post the other day with a mare called Ethel in it which i quite liked, and I know of a very beautiful mare called Edna....Granny names are on the come back, what about Elsie?

Just got home from seeing a wonderful production of Richard II at TheTobacco Factory (Bristol). In it the deposed king talks sadly about his beautfiul horse, now in the hands of the new king. The name was Roan Barbary.Could she be Barbara - though she's going to be a full-on palomino, isn't she.

What breed is she? what a gorgeous palomino filly i must say she is VERY pretty.
i have a fondness of naming ponies after other animals. so i really cant help on the naming thing. but Bells is nice. and Elle/Ella.

Thank you. She is a mixture tbh, bit of trakehner, oldenburg, hanovarian, might be some TB there too. So warmblood will have to suffice!:)

Hoping she will be a nice person as well as looking pretty in my field :D

going back to the wiinie the pooh names as you said in first post
how about KANGA --

interesting thing about KANGA is that she is the only female in all the books that A.A. Milne has written

others to go with her registered name

Poot - Wizadora's computer

Tatty Bogle(TATTY FOR SHORT) - scarecrow that lived in Wizadora's back garden

Phoebe - a talking telephone

CAN'T REMEMBER ANYMORE
