Name these old horse toys!

Haven't read all the posts...

I still have (somewhere in the loft) all of these and a load of breyer horses. I think the magazine was called 'My Beautiful Horses' I do remember winning a comp with the mag (SJ and Dressage set:D) (if I have a good search I could probs find 100's of the mags  ) Think the grey ones are pony in my pocket as well as the first ones (think the first ones also have magnetic heads?).

I don't mind if the condition isn't perfect and it's without tack, but I'd love the pony and rider if you want to sell? Could you send me some pics of it?

OMGosh!! All my toy ponies have come up in this thread!

I had pretty much ALL the Pony in my Pockets, cept a few! I shared ALL the littlest pet shop ponies with my sister, had a few of the My Beautiful Ponies, had the walking Barbie horse, had a few old school My Little Ponies AND I had three furry ones who came with a stable and school?? Anyone have any ideas?

The second picture post, with the family of greys on a straw bed, is Pony in my pocket too- I had loads!

And thinking about it- put the Piny in my Pocket ones in the freezer.......some of them will have 'red' injuries that come up, they were part of the 'vet' set...

If you do put them on ebay would you PM me the link or your ebay seller name?? My daughter spends hours playing with her toy ponies, i had loads as a child but didnt keep them :( I would love to buy her some of them to add to her collection, the ones we seem to find in the toy shops are not as nice as yours!!

I run quite a few daily searches to find the horse I'm missing. If you want I can PM you when something comes up?

This takes me back, i had the big Sindy horses- a dark bay and a Palomino hunter types ;) with moveable head and necks but solid legs and several barbie ones- Dallas the palomino, a grey that came with a carriage (now hogged) a bright bay (may not have been specifically barbie but was the same mold as them) with partly missing front legs. The barbie ones moved their legs but not heads and were lovely tb types! They even had shoes! Also had a palomino barbie foal and a bay sindy one.

I also had lots of other ones, some in interesting blues and greens, I had the sheera horse too- that was very detailed. And I had baby applejack and bubbles my little ponies and several "magpie" models. I should find them actually, bet the ones I didn't "customise" are worth a bit....

I sold all My Beautiful Horses but my sister has a nearly identical collection and I know she has the one you are missing lizwisch89 - are you still searching for it?

Yes!!! Would she sell it? Could you send me a pic? Does she have the rider as well? Any breed cards?

When i was a child about eight or nine years old(42 now) a friend of mine had a huge collection of horses brought out by pedigree, they were made of a heavy rubber and you could bend them into positions jumping, lying down etc complete with rubbery little riders with felt hats boots and jackets they too had stamps on there bums dont know if that comment was of any use but it brought back the memory of how much i loathed my friend really for having such expensive toys lolx

The last set is my beautiful horses... I have 70 of them!

I also have the paly and appy in your first pic but cannot remember the name, I think their noses were magnetic as well so they would pick up apples!! :)

I also had the greys I think they are pony in my pocket's.

I LOVE this thread!

I had/have a action man horse (bay) and the same but palamino and a Happytime? horse with life like main and tail and moveable joints, including head and neck, it came with a stand and a doll called Anna (i did'nt have the doll. :( )

i recognise the ones with the long manes but never seen the others before sorry :( and cant remember the names of the others but im pretty sure i had some of them

sorry forgot to add i think they were from one of those toy sale things as im only 15 and i wouldnt expect them to be slling for so long

I used to collect a lot of model horses and i know that the ones with a 'brand' on their bums are Grand Champions (now called Gee Gee Friends..puke..) and the ones from a magazine are My beautiful Horses, which have now started being made again called I Love Ponies. i used to read a lot of model horse forums and sites, lol.

I Love Ponies seems to be a bit of a let down though :( they've only got about half the number of moulds that My Beautiful Horses had and they're no where near the same quality. I think Vivid Imaginations doesn't quite sum up the brand name any more, at least with regards to that range lol.
