Help im having a mental block, I used to use these a few years back Our yard owner at the time insisted on us all having it off him (cost us about £5.00 A bag)

its the pellets that look like pony cubes and you add water to "fluff" them up.

I know there are various types and different names used Just wanted to see if you lot would mention this particular brand I used.

I did think it was something like equimax but thats a wormer.


Please help
 
Ha ha Nikkinoo - if you look at the adverts at the top of the Forum screen, you'll see 3 adverts for the wood pellets you're looking for. Not necessarily the same name, but the same product. Many people use the pellets you buy as fuel for wood burning stoves, but they're the same thing only cheaper!
 
The wood pellets I use are called Five Star Bedding, it is absolutely fab, quicker to muck out, Stable is neat and tidy and the waste is very little. Best of all it is so much cheaper that shaving. The guy I dealt with was called Martin, very helpful and knowledgabe.
 
Aquamax. They used to be £5 a bag, but they're now £6 at most places.

BTW I have tried Liverpool wood pellets as they're cheaper but they are awful and don't absorb properly for ages, and then they turn dusty.

IMO Aquamax is worth paying a bit extra for.
