Read it years ago and it was REALLY good, would like to read again haha.


Have a vague feeling it was a Michael Crichton book (but not neccesarily)

Was about murder and vets and horses... a vet actually loaned it to me and only bit I can remember is someone being hoisted up on the machine you lift a horse with by its hooves for an operation

I have such a blank on it, and only reason I say Michael crichton is because this particular vet and I exchanged a few M Crichton books..... so might be a red herring!!

Ages since I read that! I do remember a surgical operation being described - I have been in the surgical suite described in the book so it was quite vivid for me. (I've also been in the house that fictitiously went up in flames.)

A Massive Thankyou to Pegasus for being an absolute darling and posting me NightMares!!!!! It's a very good read, but not the book I was thinking!!! So after I have read this I think I will try Comeback lol ... Its driving me insane!!XXXXX

Having read Comeback recently it does sound very like it, especially the hoist bit. Quite gruesome!
