Please help....2 of last year's foals are now advertised for sale and still not named!!!!! I cannot believe we start foaling again in 8wks and I am not sorted. Both fillies ... one by Wish Upon A Star - i would like a name that links to his in some way - a phrase or something. The other is by Tinarana's Inspector out of a Kingsmaster mare - as she was conceived in Ireland I would like an irish name - perhaps a phrase too! the sort of names I use are things like Kiss n Tell and Fleeting Meeting as they were by Brief Encounter. Another by Monte Carlo out of Agincourt is called French Connection, and a chesnut filly with 4 even whites is called Clockwork Orange and the freaky white foal with a black head and tail is called Top Hat N'Tails but now I am clean out of ideas for the last two fillies.....PLEASE HELP

Thanks everyone - think we have settled on 'Once Upon A Time' for Wish Upon A Star filly. Still struggling with an Irish phrase or place for the other filly - really not keen on sire and dam names for inspiration Forgot to mention there is also a colt foal Irish bred by Kingsmaster out of Kilcoltrim Lass so want something really irish - perhaps beginning with K but nothing to do with King as that has been done to death. No pressure time wise though as he is not for sale.

Catch a Falling Star
Heavenly Flare (or Flair, I suppose, as a pun!)
Cosmic Gift
Hopeful Streak

I only managed to come up with Inspector Craic for the Irish one, which is just wrong

A quote from Emeral Isle Poem - Celtic Ocean Breeze

The Emerald Isle (Poem)

There is a place that haunts my dreams
Where countless knolls are always green,
And scents of Celtic ocean breeze
Draws me back to past life gleams.

I oft recall the many smiles,
Although that life was not of wealth.
Happiness was in the love
Of country called the Emerald Isle.

I must go back—the Isle awaits
My return to its sweet shores;
And grassy hillsides, cottage doors
Call me back to discern my fate.

A grave lies there among the hills
A young girl’s end by lover’s hand,
The soul will never find its peace
Until a marker the specter stills.
