iv had lucky for 5 weeks now and shes been fine out hacking until today, shes just coming back in to work after a tendon injury and we had her first canter last week and she got really silly about it, that was on wednesday i rode her again friday and she seemed to not want to go forward, i pursisted and we got out for a hour hack just walking, i took her out again today and we got half way up the track and she just stopped and went backwards i tried every trick in the book even got off and lead her forward but she kept napping and walking backwards when i got back on, is she just trying it on because she has found her feet after the canter, im getting her back and teeth checked this week to rule them out.

My first thought is 'has she tweaked the tendon again?' Of course it could just be that she found the canter very exciting and wants to do it again, so keeps stopping so that you will push her on and she can take the opportunity to canter!
