Well done!! I read this post through to the end as it was where I was a year ago. It's so important to find an approach that works within your comfort zone otherwise things can get worse. I was like you, and was reluctant to have a massive fight, especially on my own, but used similar techniques and had an instructor to help and we got through it. My pony is amazing to hack now and I much prefer hacking alone which is something I never ever thought I would be able to say. So I was going to post a 'there is light at the end of the tunnel' kind of post, but it sounds like you're on the right track. Still plenty of time to get out competing too, well done and good luck 😊
