More of a rant really !!
Just moved yards and horse has taken To napping on hacks again!!! So annoying, today was determined and Trotted him keeping him focused and working, hoped he he would forget fav napping spot ....NO!! And this time my usual tactics didn't work, and 10 mins and the light fading I had to get off which I hate! He then did this and further three times and wouldn't give in,,,, little b*stard!!
So tomorrow is two whips (just for appearance!) Spurs on and I'll get past if it kills me, which it may well lol

I'd pick the battle when the sun isn't going to set anytime soon, I've always found horses are much more alert towards dusk, as i guess this is the natural time when predators would be active. Plus there's an extra stressfactor for you of needing to get back before it gets dark.
