I have a seven year old cob who falls asleep standing up and then buckles at the front legs and falls down. This started last summer and coincided with her being given her first flue jab so that she could compete. I recently noticed in the papers that there is an ongoing case against the NHS by certain young people who have been given the flue jab and developed Narcolepsy. I have since discovered that the the same strain of vaccine Pandemrix is used for humans and animals. Is there a connection and has anyone got a horse that has developed Narcolepsy out of the blue as mine has?
