With reference to the thread why do people want to own cobs. There are many types of riders in this sport and I take exception to narrow minded peoples views why can't you accept that not everyone loves a thoroughbred. As for the person who suggests they should go for meat how dare you........ call yourself a horse lover/rider no one who cares for horses would suggest such a thing. I say each to their own. Happy riding x

I think it might be my fault... I said something along the lines of you get more meat on a cob... BUT this was tongue in Cheek. I've owned 12 cobs over the years (mostly welsh but have a traddy now) and wouldn't be without one...

Ho hum...

I just need to add to this (as some people obviously don't understand what it means!)

Definition of 'Joke':
- a humorous anecdote or remark intended to provoke laughter; act in a funny or teasing way, a triviality not to be taken seriously;

- A joke is a short story or ironic depiction of a situation communicated with the intent of being humorous. These jokes will normally have a punchline that will end the sentence to make it humorous. A joke can also be a single phrase or statement that employs sarcasm.

I hope that is clearer for the OP! :D ;)

Oh, now look I made it all better then that naughty Showjumping Superstars made it all funny again. Naughty, naughty, naughty:p:p

You are all very, very naughty. You are as naughty as a whole field full of cobs that have heard a feed bucket rattle three miles away. Tut tut tut.
