Does anyone use them? Am researching euthanasia options and I'd be interested to know what anyone has experienced. I believe you can register for a "one off" service. Any rough ideas of collectors' charges? Pony will have to be cremated and am considering having the ashes returned.

Sorry to post such a depressing topic on a Saturday night!

Where abouts are you based???

I have my pony Simon pts by the vet and then collected by Leyland pet cemetry. He was cremated and buried there and they were fantastic under the circumstances. My dog Malic is now buried with him

Sorry no experience with the above company but wasnt sure whether leyland was local??

I think they are ok, we are in Essex and our local collector for want of a better expression is Martins. They are really good, kind and caring, as much as they can be when they did not know the horse or pony in question.

Never heard of the National Fallen Stock Co. I had my horse cremated with the pet crematorium at Esh Winning in Durham. They will come and collect in Northumberland because that's where I live. Thay were professional and very sympathetic and I will use them again.
