Hi,

Ive been deciding whether to take my two foals to this show as its not too far away from me.
Just wondering if anyone has any experience because I'm worried my foals will look like hairy mammoths by the end of November and Ive heard it is very busy with mainly producers....
Any views will be greatly appreciated! :)

I'm taking mine too and I'm sure that plenty there will be fluffy, it is end November afterall! :)

I've never been but heard its well run x

Good luck, I expect all will be fluffy (I understand that they are not allowed to be body clipped)

I am taking mine to a show in November (not same one as too far) I'm not looking forward to bathing them in cold weather! maybe tempted to try dry shampoo?!

Apparently if you put soda crystals in warm water and sponge over them it brings up the dirt so no need to bath fully. Add some baby oil into the water too to add shine. Im going to give this a go, thank god they arnt really grey yet that would be a nightmare.

I'm doing a combination of the sports horse, amateur and PBA, all in the biggest height section as he's huge! lol!

Im doing filly foal ex 158 in the amateur but for the sports horse not ex 164 so prob will be in before you. debating on whether to go in the riding horse as well....

Hi, very much looking forward to this show, doing coloured, sports horse and amateur, likewise im worried about mine looking fluffy because some of the foals from last year look like theyve still got there summer coats. But will be a good day out

oooo i may come along and watch.

Shame my little foal i am fostering doesnt have a passport (she was a rescue) as i would have loved to enter her in this show.

So question - how would i go about getting a rescue foal registered with the right society/breed club if i dont know her parents??!:confused:

btw - the organisers of this show appear to be literally 'just' around the corner from our yard - we hack past them every time we go out - who knew!!
