For those who wanted to see "my bling"!!! although not that clear............. my comments were he was too deep, only on a couple of occasions I thought when we lost balance ... but hey tell me what you think?? More "reving of the engine" ? Lift to the hocks?

He looks great in the photos, altho perhaps he couldve been lighter in front and carrying a little more weight behind? Its hard to tell as pictures can catch you at odd angles as it is.....

Yes, I do think lighter in front.... he was great in warm-up then kinda went into ...."OMG" back-off mode!!! (or was it me???!!!!) More work required.......we will move our butts more next time out, transitions,transitions.............half halts!!!!

Thanks Carthorse...... music.... ummmm... just done floor plan very very simple!!!! Hubby coming to vid it tonight to see if it makes 4.30 mins!!! If not I shall add a few circles..!tehe!! ... music........well I have a few tunes I think may fit but having to do this in my lunch hour, when I get home etc... first thing in morn, listening to music on the way to the yard... now I have run out of CD's, not really someone who buys CD's... so off to library AGAIN to look......Keeps me buisy...and good excuse not to have to do the housework!!

Simple is good so they can spot the movements. I think it can be from 4 to 5 mins from halt to halt. We have had to fit ours into a 20x40 for riding club and that is limiting, you enjoy it. I know you will. I think they ALL go better outside and some once you drop that whip, they know.
I THINK YOU WERE AN ABSOLUTE STAR AND SHOULD BE SO PROUD

Thanks Jo C, I had the first one and then 10th one....... although I would like more!!!

Thanks Carthorse, I am very very pleased with my boy and he looked after me and settled into his stable sooooo well, I think he knew I was on my own without Hubby/Groom!!!

Just a quick question - do you have to halt at the beginning aswell in the novice music? Or just the end like in a normal novice test?

Im going to Wellington on 5th to do the Novice and Elementary Music - really excited!!

You halt at the beginning as well, most people have about 20secs of music to ride into, then halt. The test is then timed from the 1st halt if that makes sense

Good job you said that Jo C or I would be getting points for being under...!!! So I time from my first halt to second halt? 4 mins 30 is that correct? If over I get penalties and if under I get penalties???

Thanks Weezy, I wanted to give him a great big hug and kiss there and then but waited till we were in the stable!!!

Thanks for the times.... I shall aim for 430 ish then..

What music you using??? Or shall I ask what style instead cause I doubt you are going to tell us exactly what!!!!
