Wasting my time successfully....
Hello,
After quick bit of advice, please!
I'm taking the kids to a show (local, lowish level) soon. They'll both be doing a mixture of lead rein/first ridden and also M&M classes (both ponies Welsh A).
I think we have everythign else covered - mostly courtesy of certain auction websites: kids have tweed jackets, cream shirts/jods etc and I have a tweed jacket/dark trousers and a hat. Ponies have basic tack - flat cavesson snaffle bridles, one has gpish saddle, the other a straightish cut.
Question is: Usually we have a thin numnah under their saddles. Is it permissible/correct to use these in the ring? (Would be clean and tidy of course, I have various colours including 2 white ones - ponies are white/grey so they should be reasonably inconspicuous).
I'm not after doing HOYS qualifiers or anything, just want to make sure we are as "correct" as we can reasonably be!
G&T with ice and a slice for getting this far...
