My horse doesnt have natural shoeing but my friends farrier does do it. Her horse is shod NB and shes trying to sell it, some woman came to look and said, "i think hes rather overdue his shoeing", when what his shoes were was explained to her she said " well when you come to live with me, youll be properly looked after".
Cheeky! She didnt have him in the end!
Hen has ringbone and my old farrier would constantly ignore me asking him to shorten his toes. My new farrier chopped a load of toe off (and other more farriery things!!), and pony is one million times better! He also has a special little support thing for hen to rest his leg on, so he doesnt have to put loads of weight through his bad leg! My farrier is lovely!
