Does anyone know a good recipe for a natural fly spray that really works? I hate all the chemically ones, I wouldn't put it on myself, so I hate putting it on my horse. But natural ones never seem to work. any suggestions what to buy or how to make?

Soak pepermint T-bags in boiling water in a large jug, allow to cool, add 10 drops of eucalyptus, tea tree & citronella oil, put strained liquid in a spray bottle - it's great and works!

that sounds like an awesome recipe - i think I'd wear that!

if you type into google ..fly spray...

there is an old horse and hound forum site that comes up which has loads of receipes for fly sprays.

I've just got one off there which is

250ml cold tea
250ml cider vinegar
10 drops citronella oil
10 drops lavender oil

they say it works really well....have made mine up but not used it yet as it's rained ever since so sorry folks I jinxed the weather!!
