Clever people I need to pick your brains...
Jesper is my retired TB. He's 11yrs old and retired because of of hind suspensory damage and collateral ligament damage in his fores. He has been sound without danilon for the last four or five months but this week he's gone lame (LF). He's not considerably lame, maybe 2/10th maximum. I'm monitoring him and will get the vet if he worsens but if not I'm going to assume the hard ground and change in weather has flared up his joints.

I remember awhile back reading about something possibly called boswelia (sp?). I think Cellie used. Can someone send me any helpful links, advice on where to source it and opinions. It might be worth noting he's colic prone so I'm very careful what we feed and will do a lot of research before making a decision.

I also used Boswellia - I got it from www.mileendsupplies.co.uk it is in very pure form so is very strong smelling. One of my horses wouldnt eat it (he also refused devils claw) and he is the greediest pony in the world.

I also tried the BeeGee Hack up which is boswellia + MSM but to be honest didnt notice any difference from the normal boswellia (except it cost a hell of a lot more).
