never mind about all this natural horsemanship malarkey; what about the natural rider?! The 10yr old daughter of a work colleague came over the other day, she had been on a horse twice before and led round at walk....my goodness, what a natural rider! Put her on the lunge and she got rising trot and canter within 15 minutes, and she just so gets everything, even handling them, confident but gentle and quiet. What a lovely girl, absolutely born to ride!

My best friend is the same - she galloped the first time she sat on a horse (intentionally) and is now 10 years in racing and one of the best horsepeople I know!

aHHH, Sounds like me @ 10yrs old!

No joke, my instructor said i was the first ever person that understood and perfected the correct diagnal within 10 mins of being taught!

I also had started jumping on only my 4th ever lesson.. have to say though, my balance has worsened over the years (im 23 now!) lol.
