Naughty horse when mounting

The horse I ride has recently started stepping into me when I mount her. She started doing it, then stopped for a bit but now does it again. The only way we can keep her still is if she has a treat and if not she sets off with me and I get thrown off from bucking and not being in the saddle properly. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to stop this?
 
if it's a new problem I'd check for any physical reasons first (teeth/back/a little insect bite somewhere!) that the horse is uncomfortable about.

I recently had a problem where my going horse was stepping sideways and stomping when mounted. Although she is recently broken, so it was just a case of getting used to it rather than naughtiness. Each day for about two weeks I put the saddle on and off her and mounted and dismounted several times. This solved it, might not work for your horse but no harm trying :)
 
It can work very well to mount and then treat. Of course you need to have the horse held for you at first to get it to understand that if it stands still it will get a tasty treat. If treating works, then you can just carry on treating.

Is the horse young or is this new behaviour in an established horse?

If this is new behaviour I think she could be telling you something is painful. Has she been checked over?

And if you teach the horse to turn its head to the right for the treat, that brings its body (slightly) nearer to the mounting block for you to get on. Do you mount from a block?
 
Why assume the horse is "naughty"? Sorry but pet peeve of mine, a horse IMO is very rarely acting up to be "naughty", theres usually a reason. Check tack, teeth and if you're in balance when you get on? Are you booting them in the ribs as you get on or landing heavily? I'd look at these things first. Otherwise, Ive got one who is very slightly cold backed so she likes to walk forward as I mount, I sorted it by getting on and immediately leaning forward to give her a treat. She now waits for the treat.
