OK some bad ass mouse has eaten a hole in my favourite rug I't a heavy weight turnout and the hole is around the size of a 50p any tips on repairing it without sending it away? too thick material to try to stitch

Oh no....I love them but they really can be a pain. One made a nest under the seat on Dan bike last year and chewed through all of the wiring!!!

I would probably send away if it were me...TO's are so easy to mess up if you do it wrong.

You can get iron-on canvas for mending tents, I am fairly sure. Would that do it?

You can buy canvas and glue on eBay. Get the stormsure glue its waterproof.

I used a tent repair kit on a rug. Worked really well. It came from Go Outdoors and was a Gortex one. The patches just stuck on.

I second buying some canvas and stormsure glue! Fab stuff and cheap too, i buy it off ebay, its great for mending rugs and wellies! i think there is a rug repair kit you can get on ebay that comes with a canvas patch and glue if you dont mind the colour not matching
