My mare has been short behind but I have gone through every vet route possible and nothing has showed up so now I am seeing if riding her and trying to build up muscle helps.
Today I schooled her for the first time in weeks and she was brilliant- didn't fight the contact, worked in a consistant contact and was well behaved in the canter.
Towards the end (and when she was getting tired) she started to buck on the left rein and in the same place every time (near the gate).
Would you put this down to her being nappy and wanting to finish or her being in pain?
I must add that she has been known to nap towards the gate when she thinks its time for her to finish!
