So after 4 weeks of being locked up in his stable - Naughty Pony went out for a few hours on Saturday. Galloped - bucked - tried to wind every other horse up and rolled so much you would think he was in the middle of having a colic attack. After 2 hours was waiting at the gate (not pawing the wire) and happy to come in...
Sunday - his new jockey rode.. she has ridden nearly every day last week and this is what we got this week!!!
To begin with he was very un-relaxed, over bent and she was leaning on his mouth.. With lots of half halts and stirrups taken away - much better
Such a difference from last Sunday when she couldnt get him to stand, he was tearing around and she wanted to get off...
Hard work really paying off - proud mother moment!
Any CC welcomed... He may look stiff in hocks as is 26 and working on the over bendiness...
