My Boy arrived at Rockley Farm last Thursday and his first blog is below:
http://www.rockleyfarm.blogspot.com/
He has been lame and off work since May 2009. I have tried all the 'traditional' approaches including steriod injections, Navilox, Tildren, Egg bar shoes to try and make him more comfortable but none of these treatments have made any difference and he has been on bute for the last 2 months.
I wanted to post incase anyone else is in a similar situation with their horse/ or has been before.
My vet and farrier have been relatively spectical about this approach but I am prepared to give anything a go that will hopefully improve his quality of life as he has been very uncomfortable the last couple of months
Fingers crossed for him please!!
