My horse has been diagnosed with navicular syndrome (see my other thread)
http://www.horseandhound.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=472273
she had a corticosteroid injection nearly 3 weeks ago, and hasn't been lame for 2 weeks now. I will start her on the adequan intramuscular injections in the next 3 weeks (vet said she also has osteoarthritis).
She is also on msm glucosamine & boswellia supps.
I have been walking her out in hand for the last few days, just for 15-20 mins, on road a bit but mostly verge.
the farrier is coming on weds with the etiopath to see her. (she is barefoot, and I want to try & keep her this way).
my question is, how much exercise should I be doing with her, over how long, and what sort of exercise?
she hasn't done anything for the last 3 months.
thanks
