What type do you use? Mine is pretty old now, and needs replacing, but I'm not sure what looks good in the show ring these days.

I've currently got a Charles Owen H2000, which I'm happy with so could just buy another - but I like to see options...

The Charles Owen Fian is probably the best out there if you fit the CO shape.
Slim line but has all the right test standards

I have the Harry Hall Hampton Hat. I think it's quite a flattering shape.

Hi I got mine out to check as I couldn't remember the make. My old navy velvet was the Charles Owen Fiona? but that's now the Fian, I think. I also liked that very much too.

I have a fian. Looks lovely but between you and me, not the most comfy (might have lied a bit to the hat fitter as I really wanted it)
