Neck cover - without a rug - is there such a thing?

Hi,

Random question I know!!

But my girl only gets bitten by midges and flies in the neck area, and she doesn't particularly like wearing a rug, so I wondered if there was such a thing available as just a neck cover to protect against flies/midges etc, without the whole rug thing?

cornerstone browband make made to measure hoods separate I had 2 made for my mare as she only rubbed her mane, she does trade on ebay if that's easier for you.

I've used the snuggyhood neck cover (no face style) without a rug for the same problem, but if you do I would suggest adding a clip or buckle to the fastening girth strap as the velcro tends to come undone and fill with grass etc fairly quickly. Works well though.

Just seen in the Snowhill trade catalogue and there's one in there so suggest see which of your local tack shops use them as wholesalers

Ruggles do a faceless neck cover too, lycra, thinner than the snuggy hoods one and cheaper too.
