I like to have a play around in the arena without a bridle. I don’t know the right names, but I have a hard neck rope that isn’t floppy and stays in a firm loop. I hope you know what I mean!
I’d like to try the sort I see in the videos of European riders when they are bridleless - a soft rope with adjustable leather section, but I can’t find anything like that in the UK.
I was considering the cathedral equine rolled leather neck strap, but I don’t think it’ll be big enough as the xfull is only 150cm and this is a big horse with a huge neck and shoulders. All standard “oh crap strap” type neck straps are just too short as a neck rope needs to be much longer.
Any ideas?
