Hello,

Hoping this isn't a really silly question...

I have been using an old stirrup leather as a neckstrap, a little something extra to grab in case my youngster has one of his silly moments. I used to use a breastplate that attaches to the saddle and prefer this as it doesn't slip forward if he puts his head forward, however my boy has a huge sarcoid between his front legs which would prevent him wearing anything that runs between them. Is it possible to get a breastplate or something which goes around the front and attaches to the d rings on the saddle but doesn't go through the front legs?

(Sarcoid is now banded by vet and drying up at an alarming rate so please no comments one this)

Glass of rosé for anyone who can help :)

Put a strap from a Brest plate round the neck strap and attach to the saddle if you don't have a strap use a leather boot lace or similar.

Or a breast girth? (all right, this is a breast girth sleeve, but you can see the breast girth in it)

You could always try a balance stap - a short leather strap that clips to the D rings at the front of the saddle. The advantage of this is that you can hook your fingers over it whilst holding the reins.
