neck straps

I am wondering whether it is possible to buy a neck strap without having to get a martingale? Just wanting something to help balance whilst jumping etc

I just use a spare stirrup leather.

I use either a breastplate or an old martingale with the martingale bits chopped off! At least with breastplate, it stays on if i fall off!

Like cobwithattitude I use a hunting breastplate, I find the trouble with neckstraps is they move just when I need them!

Also means that if a leather breaks, you've got a spare one on you

as others have said... we just use spare stirup leathers at the riding school where i work
