Have some pictures of Neddy :)

A wee update -
Vet will be out next week, she was away this week and I figured since he's not on 3 legs or suffering out in the field, we could wait.
Farrier will also be out to trim and take his shoes off, not much point having them on if he's out of work.

I had a little break down at the yard too :'( Everything is taking it's toll on me and I just don't know what to do. I will admit to sitting with him and crying into his mane. I know things will work out, but it seems hopeless right now :(

So, here's my funny little man <3

Just Ned's vets bills and drama at the yard. They're thinking of putting the price up and if they do, I will be forced to leave, as will a lot of others. I already pay £40 to have a lame horse sitting in a field!! I can't afford more. Huff, it's getting ridiculous :(

I'm not sure :( I don't even know how bad the problem is. Last time they came, they said worst case scenario is that he will never be ridden again...which broke my heart and made me really desperate to change yards. Though, she said it's unlikely to be that bad, but we have to think of best and worst with these sorts of thing. Hopefully the X-ray will reveal what's wrong and put my mind at rest :)

She said if I get really desperate I can go there if I like, but there is a chance he will be left alone again and I can't risk that :(
My mum is quite friendly with a local farmer, so she's going to ask him if he has any fields to rent :)

He looks very relaxed sunbathing.

It's a shame you have to wait for x- rays, my vet has a mobile machine and did them there an then when Jay had to be checked out.

Is this as a result of his gallivanting around the countryside by himself?

Hope you find another livery soon, have you and your fellowmliveries spoken to the YO about the price increase? If they realise many of you will leave, they may well rethink.

Hope things work out for you and Ned.

Sorry things aren't sorted yet :( don't take his shoes off until the vets seen him though. You don't want him footsore as could make pinpointing his lameness a bit harder :)
