After 10 wonderful months working with horses, I have decided to call it a day and come home.
I found I just didn't have the time, nor energy for Neddy any more (and anyone who knows him will know he requires a lot of both!) so I have found a yard close to home and a new job :)

He travelled well, after hesitating for about 5mins, dancing back and forth in front of the ramp, he very randomly decided it wasn't scary and walked on calmly.
We got to our new place and he had a dash about with his new friends, then settled down to graze :)

It was very emotional saying goodbye to all my friends at the yard :( but I think it's for the best!

So, in case any of you are reading this - Thank you so much for a fantastic time!

And of course it wouldn't be a Ned thread without a picture!! Happy in his new field!

Ahhh, well done Chan, and it's good to see a Ned picture. I don't know the details, but it sounds like you will have happy memories of the last ten months whilst, at the same time, knowing that moving back is the right thing to do for you and Ned now.

Good luck in the new job.

Funnily enough i nearly started a thread the other day to ask how he was getting on

It seems that you both benefitted from the other yard bit it must be lovely to be home again

Sometimes difficult decisions are the best ones. And Net is looking very happy! Goodluck with the new job and hope you have a bit more time for your horsie now!

Glad to hear Ned arrived safe and sound. Hope it all goes well for you both and hope Ned keeps progressing as well as he has this year.

Good for you E, you gave it a go and found it a good experience and learnt a lot from it, now its time for you both to move on to the next faze of your life together, You know how I feel about Mr Ned, glad all is well and you are back home, look forward to hearing more of your adventures together x

Thanks guys! I really appreciate the kind words :)
It was a great experience, and I know so much more than I did before, which will help me keep Ned so much better!

Kobi - the photo is deceiving! He's actually brown on the other side, inc. rug!
