Nedzbed - anyone use it?

I liked it at first, did semi deep litter, but found it not as absorbent as hemp. Also found it goes rather "clumpy". I like the hemp, if you start a deep bed it works out you can use 1-2 bales per week, with the bed always dry on top.

I use it, mixed about 1/3 shavings to 2/3 Nedz. The shavings 'fluff' it up a bit more, or it can become a bit heavy. I have found it really good and my mare is a mucky thing! In the summer I partially deep littered because she was only in a few hours during the day. Now that she is in at night, I lift the bed and dig out the wet every morning and then put it back down again. I have found it plenty absorbent, it mucks out easily and for us, it works out cheaper than shavings.
So I would say give it a go and see how you like it.
 
Im using rape straw bedding - not nedzbedz -but the same thing.

Its been a revelation. Amazing stuff.

Im deep littering and just picking out the poo Mon- Fri then digging out the wet on a Saturday.

Im using half a bale a week. The less you touch it, the firmer it is.

Great for bed rest - didnt smell at all.
 
I'm using the Nedz pro for Jigsaw. He's really clean on it, take out the wet once a week and just pick out the poo's the other days. Had Alisha on it too but she was really dirty and ended up putting about 3 -4 bales in a week so she is now back on straw!
 
i uesed to use it, liked it at first, but them noticed it started getting abit on the dusty side and also the smell used to get at the back of my thorat, spose you get used to that.
Didint find it particularly absorbant either.
went back to shavings after trying flax, bloody stuff got everywhere
