Having being ill for sometime with other diseases and conditions i've now gone and picked up Chickenpox (second time).
I feel so irritated and sore, I'm not allowed outside because it's highly contagious and I can't go to the horses. Not only this but I can't go to school and I'm really worried that i'm going to mess up and not be able to go to college.

Just had a massive crying session and now I feel depressed and really down.

It's bad because I don't talk to my mum much (we dont get along) so i'm sat here crying like a baby.

Oh bless you. Is there someone else you can talk too? I would find comfort in these forums till you are allowed in the wide world again. Watch some rubbish TV - Jeremy Kyle always makes me feel better about my life when I am ill. Rest well and don't itch!! xx

Snap PC!

I had CP as a baby and went on to develop it as an adult
I was out of work for two weeks and the smyptoms were the pitz
I think I slept thru most of the second week

On the plus side there is some evidence which says that adult onset gives you some protection against developing shingles...

Some advice...go to bed and get someone to play mammy for you if possible...;)
 
Huge hugs and a large hot choccy (other comforting beverages are available ;):D).

You won't have messed up getting into college. I know it's hard, but try and concentrate on putting your energy into getting well rather than stressing.

It's horrible. I just keep getting ill. I really think i'm going to fail school :{xx
 
well i would give you a cuddle but you're all spotty:p;) :eek:
it' isn't nice when you've had a run of illness' , leaves you feeling so washed out and useless, hope you feel better soon.:)
