Need a dressage trainer in NI help!!!!

Thanks Wheels,

It's good to atleast know that Lucy still teaches. Ive been away for a good while and have lost track of these things. I'm sure I can worm my way in eventyally lol, and it's still couple of months before I'm in need of a lesson. :)

Where is Alison mastin Moore based?
Has anyone been to Alison Davies? A friend has been trying to get lessons with Lucy for a while but she's extremely busy it seems.

I'm looking for someone to help my with my baby PRE to instill correct going from the start.
Ooh! (pricks up ears) - you have a Spanish horse? Could you please PM me as I am trying to get in touch with all PRE and Lusitano owners and riders in Ireland. I have 3, and I have friends who own another 6 or 7 between them - we need to stick together1

complete hijack,

I haven't lived in NI since university.. rather too many years ago.

I was taught to ride by Yvette Linton who was Moira direction. Is she still around?

I have been going to Jo Balcombe in Fermanagh for a few years now and would highly recommend her. She's what I would describe as intuitive and 'sympathetic' but takes no nonsense (from horse OR rider!) - firm but fair - and I've always come away with a happier horse and a better rider than when I arrived! I do mainly flatwork but she teaches sj and has a field of xc fences for schooling too.

And joy of joys, she has a self-catering cottage on-site so I normally make a mini holiday/weekend of it with the family. I've also had a couple of horsey weekends with the girls - a sort of BHS Camp with penty of vino but without the yoga! And she's right next to Florencecourt so there's hacking nearby too.

She's at www.Derrygiff.co.uk - based a couple of miles SW of Enniskillen. It's worth the journey and I get a huge amount out of a couple of days focusing on the horse.
