Need a name for this horse please (pictures)

Harlequin is a typical chestnut mare, by Harlequin du Carel, out of a Clover Hill mare called Crisp Clover.
The aim is to do county workers, but she has to be registered with a name, as she doesn't have one in her passport.
As you can see from her stable name, I'm not the most imaginative!
She does also go by 'cowface', 'useless bloody donkey' and other worse ones!

I have one by the same sire equally unimaginatively know as Harley:D He is yet to be named so not putting those choices in.

She is a lovely mare and same as Harley has a great jump.

Names
Harlequin - Clover/ Crisp/ Hill (rather masculine though)
Flair/ Joy/ Charm
Be my Harlequin

OOO I love these and lovely horse too! Here are my suggestions...

...The name 'Castanea' is probably derived from the old name for the Sweet Chestnut
...The American Chestnut - 'Castanea Dentata'
...Harlequin or 'Arlecchino' in Italian, 'Arlequin' in French, 'Arlequine' in Sallan and 'Arlequín' in Spanish

Ooh, I like Harlequin Hill, and Arlechino, both a bit masculine but might encourage her to contain her inner b*tch!

Louise Bell always has really good, easy to pronounce names for hers, Working Girl, Cruise Control etc

Its a shame her breeder didn't give her a name, as she is very smart and he deserves some credit. She was born in Limerick.
 
What a lovely horse, can you dye her a deep bay please and pop her in the post !

I found a horse with an exotic name tends to flummox the commentator's at county shows. My horse has a french name and he has been called all sorts of things in the ring which I did find annoying at times especially after a win.

I would try to pick something they can pronounce, I was stuck because the SHGB insist on registering a horse with it's original passport name, so despite him having a very nice english name on his Uk passport I had to register him with his french passport name.

What a fabulous jump she has, good luck, she will take some beating in the workers and I wouldn't rule out a spin in the flat classes she looks good enough. Sadly I have a very warped sense of humour and if she belonged to me she would be landed with something like - The Orange Bird. or Harriet the Hedge Hopper. Sorry !!, I am sure you will find a pretty name for her and I will look out for you at the big shows.

We are aiming for a novice in about a month when she's in show condition and ready for a ride judge to 'point and go'. However she is a very precocious 6 year old so aiming for opens by June/July, as I think she will laugh at me if I repeatedly jump her in 1.05m classes!

She's crying at the minute as she's having a bit of intensive work after doing a bit of light hunting and generally arsing about with her boyfriend in the field all winter!
 
Well a harlequin was a comic character who used to appear in court to amuse the royalty... How about :
