Need a new saddle

But I need one with a front gusset - WTF??

Anyone have any ideas what sort of saddle I need to be looking out for? I have no ideas what a gusset looks like (cept them in tights obviously!!)

Is anyone has a wide 17.5 leather saddle with such 'gusset' type panels in for sale I'd be grateful if you could PM me!! I can only afford second hand at the mo!!

How do you know you need that particular type of saddle when you don't know what it looks like?

Because my saddler told me LOL!! I know actually I'm after advice to what makes of saddle actually are produced with a gussetted front panel and if anyone can post me up a picture of what one actually looks like?

Are you sure that he didn't mean "gullet" like what the Wintec, Bates and Collegiates have- that you can change the front gullets?

I've known a couple of horses who had these on their saddles, but they were added by the saddler who was fitting the saddle. I don't know any saddles with them as 'standard' I would think the size and shape of the gussets needs to be tailored to your horse?
