Need a second competition name, ideas anyone?

Right, thinking ahead to next seaon, and affiliating the Jerry monster, I need a second name for him in case they dont use my first choice.

My first choice is DangerMouse, his stable name is Jerry, this is him in case you didnt already know

Any ideas?

What are his parents names? Does he have any funny characteristics you could name him after... I called one of mine JS Dreadnought...because he is a destroyer!

You could always put a prefix in front of DangerMouse? So like your house name and then Dangermouse, or your initials then DangerMouse.

That way you can have him as DangerMouse, which is soooooo cool BTW, and if you have any other event horses

you can put it in front of their names

But if you cant have that do what Claire said, put a prefix in front. I had to do that with Ulrich as there was already 7 Ulrichs reg'd!

If affiliating with BE check if the name already exists and then just apply. I have never worried about 2nd names. If comes to the worst they have a number after Dangermouse III for instance

i looked on BE (if thats what ur affiliating with) and there were a few dangermouses but all had numbers after their names so presumably you could have dangermouse as there was no plain dangermouse! i dont know tho!

What about DD as a prefix then? That way, if you do start to develop a "string", then each one will always reflect the one who started it all in their names!
DD DangerMouse, DD Kiki, DD Zara...

I would ring BE to check. My mare is Mississippi on her passport and when I saw it my heart sank as I thought there were bound to be about 25 Mississippi's on there so would need to have a number at the very least. When I rang, they said there was a Mississippi II, III, IV and V but nothing for just Mississippi for some reason so I got the name! Worth checking and then send your registration in straight away to bag the name if it's free.

It looks like Danger Mouse has already been taken although the horse with that name is not registered at the moment. It is likely that you would be registered as 'Danger Mouse V'

Will put him down as DD Dangermouse as second choice as has a nice ring to it.

Think I must be mad affiliating him, haven't even got him through a dressage test yet

got no idea of a name for him but we had to use a prefix for otto.his showname is twist of fate but there was already one registered with BSJA so as he is ex kings troop we called him kings twist of fate.i later found out from our instructor whose fella is in the kings troop that otto was intitled to carry the kings prefix!
