Am feeling abit fedup, have been looking for a puppy for ages now. They're either a long way away (we don't mind travelling but think more than 2 hours would be unfair on a puppy) or not quite right.
Why do people who are advertising puppies not include photos of the parents? I want to be able to see what the puppy will hopefully end up like.
We're also wanting a smooth coated jrt or parson, which is another reason we would like to see the parents.
It also seems nearly impossible to find a smooth coat, most litter have one smooth parent and one rough :(

ok feel alittle bit better now :)

We bought a puppy from Ireland and she travelled from Northern Ireland to Cornwall with no problems :)

So I would say maybe widen your search, and I agree I find it astonishing that the breeders are unable to send you pictures of both parents!

Don't give up hope yet :)

I think a good breeder will volunteer the info on asking. I had breeders insulted I had asked the price and others not wanting to give me more info. I found the one we've bought from via word of mouth from another breeder-there was no ad but he immediately sent me photos, pedigrees, photos of parents, health tests etc etc without prompting-he also volunteered the price ;) we got lucky too that he was only 90 mins away so keep looking!
