Daughter did theory late last year. She is doing her driving this week. Test Thurs. She is just doing 7.5. Trainer today mentioned 'case study ' test. Whats that. Does she need that as well

That is module 2 of the LGV initial driver cpc for LGV drivers who wish to drive commercially
Private LGV driving such as own horsebox not used for any sort of business does not require the driver to have dcpc of any sort
Perhaps trainer has not been informed that she is doing it for private use only

There is one exception to needing the initial dcpc for private use and that is where an under 21 year old is going to be driving a LGV over 7.5 tonnes
This is not the case here because your daughter is only doing C1 = max 7.5 tonnes

I will print this off for her to take tomorrow. She is 32 and only doing 7.5 so should be ok then
