Need advice on electric fencing please

I have a foal arriving in a few weeks and setting up a paddock for him and his babysitter in the field with electric fencing.

Ideas on sizes would be good as well as any suugestions on the cheapest places to buy posts batteries tape/rope etc.

I get all my fencing from there and they also have some good deals on Ebay as well . They always send things super quick and the postage is very reasonable considering how bulky and heavy fence stuff is.

I bought the more expensive energiser frome Robinsons, about £120. It has been great. Got my tape and posts off Ebay, I bought the highest posts and thickest tape and its all lasted well. Bought my first kit years ago form Farmcare, they are very helpful.

Another vote for FARMCARE - they always do their best to get the fencing to you - usually next day.

can i just say that tape is much much much safer than rope. no way would i put elec rope anywhere near a foal...
