Need companion for elderly mare North Cumbria/Scottish Border

Hi , any suggestions please . The companion for my elderly 33 yo mare is moving yard so he can be sold . I've tried the 2 local rescue places and they dont have anything available . Blue Cross and Horses Trust will take too long . Really I need something thats laid back and nice with other horses as my mare doesnt do rushing about or playing much now . It sounds awful but once she's gone the companion wont be needed and would need to be returned hence asking the rescue ctrs . I'm in the North of Cumbria/Scottish border so if anyone can help please get in touch .....

They were full going into winter so may have one available to adopt

I tried Mossburn and she said she had nothing ! I was a tad suprised ! Anyway I may a lead but wont know till Th now . Many thanks tho
