Need help choosing a bridle...

I have been desperate to buy my TB a new bridle since I bought him however I have struggled to find one that I really liked and one that came with a standard cavesson noseband (which had to be raised/padded but not too thick/thin). I am quite picky over bridles tbh.
I now have a several options....

1. I have come across a nice one in the Shires Catalogue (Bedale Snaffle Bridle) for just over £30 (inc full rubber reins).
2. Also one which had a nicer noseband despite it being a flash) again from shires 'Limburg Snaffle' for again just over £30 (inc full rubber reins).
3. But I have recently found a Stubben bridle with everything I have been looking for including half and half reins which I prefer to full rubber reins. Which is just under £100 so I would be saving myself £30-£40 off RRP.

I would love to get the Stubben as I think it could be quite a nice bargin however I am only wanting an every day bridle. So I am debating whether to risk getting it and just clean is and treasure it so it will still look great when we eventually compete.
Or just get a cheaper one and hope it lasts and scrubs up well?

Idealy I would love to get two but I have just spent £700 in the past two weeks on him....
So slightly worried about the price of the Stubben but I know they are good quality.

Sorry I am very indecisive so need a little help.
 
Hi I've had 2 mega bargins of ebay... I like quite slim bridles as they are for Arabs, but fortuneatly my little orange fruit looks wonderful in the browns and I now have a NEW Jeffries elite and NEW Kiefer which I got for £30 and £40 simply because they weren't black! and he looks super in them. Both with reins and flash (which i need)

Stubbens bridle wins hands down over Shires.

Have you looked at Cotswold Sports bridles, they are quite niec and the leather is good.
 
Spoil yourself, you use your tack every day it's an investment and good quality stuff that is well looked after lasts forever and comes up lovely for shows.
 
Stubben all the way - worth the extra cost. My lad has a Stubben for everyday, he does everything in it with a change of nosebands and it still looks and feels like new after 2 and a half years.

www.tackshop.co.uk are very cheap for Stubben bridles....
 
Dixie do you have a website address for those bridles?

The Subben one is actually on ebay and ends soon so could do with decided in the next hour or so which one to get even know I may not win the Stubben.

Bailey that is what I was thinking but I have never really been very dedicated at cleaning tack so a little worried about spending so much money on a bridle and saddle. But hoping that since this is the first tack I have actually saved up for and bought myself I may actually take care of it better than those I have had bought for me.
