Need help with a sinclaire trailer floor please

I visited my local scrap yard with a friend and found a sinclaire horse box! It was part of a stable yard clearance and owner was going to crush it. I got my mechanic down to have a peak at it and its pretty decent but needs a new floor. I bought it there and then for £90! (didn't barter either!) So my question is how do I re-floor it and what is the best wood etc to use? Meatballs and jam for any help xx

I had a Sinclair pony trailer years ago and only sold it to upsize.

For the floor why not put an alloy floor in instead of replacing with wood?

S4sugar- what height would you say it carried upto? I've read it will carry 15hh and some say 16.2hh. With a aluminium floor would I have it welded? Sorry i'm clueless :-( x
