Hi, I'm new to horse and hound forum and was wondering if anyone could help me with finding a new pair of dressage riding boots. I have been recommended Konigs by my trainer but after reading a few other forums I am concerned about the stiffness as I have very sensitive skin and rub and bruise easily. I have also looked at Parlanti boots and was wondering if anyone had tried them??

Welcome to the forum :)

How much do you want to spend? And then im sure some people will give you suggestions.

I have some patent konigs which are really stiff and not that comfortable!! I am persvering with them at the moment though......

I would like to get a really good quality pair so I wouldn't mind splurging a bit something between £400-£600 possibly £700. Hope that helps :)

Jealous of your budget! It depends on what you want (patent / bling etc) but I like the classic high cut boots (do love patent and always drool when I see people in beautiful patent konigs.... but I have chubbly legs thet dont need extra attention!)

I have just got sarm hippique 1600 and I lOVE them! I too am a delicate flower and have found them beautifully comfortable so would highly recommend.

I love patent boots but they scratch easily and was hoping to keep these ones for a long time but i totally get the drool effect haha! I quickly looked up sarm hippique and they look really nice and comfy but not sure if they have the front zips? Yay someone has tried the parlanti dressage boots, that's the first I've heard about them!

My friend got a made to measure pair of Konigs (the stiffened ones) and loved them. She also got a pair of off the peg brown ones and hated them as she felt her feet were swimming in them.
