Most of Harry's stable has thick mats down but they're really light and he tends to kcik the front ones out with him clumpy feet lol.

I'm after one heavy rubber mat, about 6 foot long and 3 foot wide, thick as possible, to put at the front of them all. The weight should stop the rest moving forward and make the front of his stable a bit easier to sweep.

Where's the best place to get what I'm after? Like I said, only need one, so don't want to be paying a bomb for postage if it's online and wanted to get as cheap as I can. Second hand is also fine, just anything that fits the bill.

Thanks :)

Have you looked on preloved or ebay for anything in your area?
Do you have a free ad paper like the friday-ad?
If you have a second hand tack shop see if they keep a list of things people want and if so put your mat request down on list.
Or just ask round your yard or anyone horsey you can think of.
Good luck!

Thanks Jodie :) I've tried most of those places, been on all the free sites and ebay today hunting but all too far which means massive postage costs. I can get what I want for £35 online but due to weight, postage is the same price, so really isn't worth it.

Local tack shop hasn't got anything but Mole Valley might, unfortunately, they don't list it on their website. If anyone in the Somerset area knows a good place to go or anyone selling, I'd appreciate it, thanks :)

Ah I *think* there's a countrywide in Bridgwater, will have a check...

Thanks MissTyc but I specifically want rubber for the weight. The ones I currently have are eva and brill for mucking out and lifting to clean, but light enough for Harry to kick around, so want this one to sit infront of them and stop them moving forward :)

I have one, I am pretty sure we have a spare I can check tomorrow if you want? We didn't need it because our stable didn't need all of them. If I do have a spare would you like me to PM you? We got them second hand so probably will only want £15 for it.

Thanks Kokopelli, have pm'ed you.

Ah yes, there is a CW in Bridgwater, I'll have to go and pay a visit. Mole Valley is over there too so I could do some comparison lol. Tbh, cow mats or horse mats are fine, as long as they are weighty and 17mm+ thick, should do the job perfectly.

Thanks guys :)
