Horse had a touch of colic this morning, not enough to warrant vet (horse gets colic a bit so not uncommon, this is due to on going issue under vets care)
Seems fine now eating a bit of grass.
I am supposed to be going away in an hour for 2 weeks and the person left to care for the horses will have to drop me off, stay overnight and come back tomorrow to be here for 5:00 pm so basically horse will be not be checked on from now 4:30 till tomorrow 5:00 pm.
I would normally advise people against it but horse seems fine now, it is not a completely unusual thing, vets cannot due much anyway unless life or death as horse a bit complicated and has to be either darted or try to cover face and dodge legs.
What does anyone think?
